We Muslims are ready to label kafir to the Muslim of other sects without realizing that it is a great sin in the eyes of Allah. Islam was completed in the days of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as Koran says:
اَلْیَوْمَ اَکْمَلْتُ لَکُمْ دِیۡنَکُمْ وَاَتْمَمْتُ عَلَیۡکُمْ نِعْمَتِیۡ وَرَضِیۡتُ لَکُمُ الۡاِسْلٰمَ دِیۡنًا
Almost 200 years after Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), Muslim scholars started writing Ahadith which turned a beautiful and simple religion into complex labyrinths. Even now a very strong sect Ahle Ahadith is also there. In his last sermon, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said he is leaving behind two essentials: Koran and Sunnah. Islam survived 200 years without Bukhari, Muslim and other books. Though I myself don’t agree with Pervaiz Ahmed, but my question is: the one who believes in Koran is Kafir, but the one who believes in books of rawayah (Ahadith) is Muslim. If Hadith was important, it would have been written in the days of rightly guided caliphs. But Abu Bakar (RA) discouraged to write Ahadith as they sometime invalidate Koran.
I myself believe in those ahadith which are not sacrilegious and not against the basic tenants of Islam and do not lower the prestige of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). I think anyone who believes in Allah and His last Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is Muslim. I don’t agree with some of the ahadith. Am I also kafir?

وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَىٰ مَنِ اتَّبَعَ الْهُدَىٰ

Rejecting Ahadees without presenting solid and strong reason is irrational and illogical. You have to prove what blasphemous material Ahadees hold. I think you have some misconceptions about Ahadees. Criticism on Ahadees requires specialism and a lot of knowledge about other Ahadees as well which people generally don’t have. I personally think this is the abode where people must stop.​

The Riwayat you mentioned about Caliph Abu Bakar Siddique (R.A) is said to be unauthentic. How can you present such thing to support your assertion?​

Rejecting Ahadees is extremely a delicate matter. You have to be very careful in this regard.
Still if you have anything profane in the texts of Ahadees, then present! There are some conversant persons who can assist you.​

مسٹر پاؤل کے سوال کا اُردو ترجمہ

ہم مسلمان دوسرے مسلمان فرقوں پر کافر کا لیبل لگانے کے لیے تیار رہتے ہیں یہ جانے بغیر کہ اللہ تعالٰی کے نزدیک یہ کبیرہ گناہ ہے ۔ اسلام رسول اللہ ﷺ کے دور میں مکمل ہو چکا تھا جیسا قرآن کا ارشاد ہے :
اَلْیَوْمَ اَکْمَلْتُ لَکُمْ دِیۡنَکُمْ وَاَتْمَمْتُ عَلَیۡکُمْ نِعْمَتِیۡ وَرَضِیۡتُ لَکُمُ الۡاِسْلٰمَ دِیۡنًا
رسول اللہ ﷺ کے دو سو سال بعد مسلم علماء نے احادیث لکھنا شروع کیں جس نے ایک خوبصورت اور عام فہم اسلا م کو پیچیدہ بھو ل بھلیاں میں بدل دیا یہاں تک کہ اہل ِ احادیث( اہلِ حدیث) کا بہت مضبو ط گروہ اب بھی موجود ہے ۔ اپنے آخری خطبہ میں رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا تھا کہ وہ اپنے بعد دو اہم چیزیں چھوڑے جا رہے ہیں یعنی قرآن اور سنت ۔اسلام دو سو سال تک بخاری و مسلم اور دیگر کتب کے بغیر زندہ رہا۔ اگر چہ میں خود بھی پرویز احمد( چوہدری غلام احمد پرویز) سے متفق نہیں ہوں، لیکن میرا سوال ہے کہ جو قرآن پر ایمان رکھے اس کو کافر اور جو روایات ( احادیث) کو مانے اس کو مسلمان کہا جاتا ہے (لہذا) اگر احادیث اہم ہوتیں تو ان کو خلفائے راشدین کے دور میں لکھا جا چکا ہوتا ۔ لیکن حضرت ابو بکر ؓ نے احادیث لکھنے کی حوصلہ شکنی کی کیونکہ بعض اوقات وہ قرآن کو رد کر دیتی تھیں۔ میں بذات ِ خود ان احادیث کو مانتا ہوں جو گستاخی پر مبنی نہ ہوں اور اسلام کے بنیادی تعلیمات کے خلاف نہ ہوں اور جو ہمارے پیارے رسول اﷺ کے مقام و مرتبہ کو کم نہ کرتی ہوں۔ میں سوچتا ہوں جو اللہ تعالٰی اور اسکے آخری پیغمبر محمد ﷺ پر ایما ن رکھتا ہو وہ مسلمان ہے ۔ میں کچھ احادیث کو نہیں مانتا تو کیا میں کافر ہوں ؟

ہم کسی کو قرآن کے ماننے کی وجہ سے کافر نہیں کہتے ، ہم تو احادیث کو چھوڑنے کی وجہ سے کافر کہتے ہیں۔
احادیث کی تحقیق تو کرنی چاہیے، اور مسلمان چودہ صدیوں سے یہ فریضہ سرانجام دے رہے ہیں۔
لیکن من چاہی احادیث کو ماننا اور مرضی کے خلاف احادیث کو رد کردینا، یہ گمراہ کن رویہ ہے۔
اور یہ سوچ اس لیے بھی خطرناک ہے کہ اس سے کوئی قرآن کریم کی آیات کے رد کی بھی جسارت کرسکتاہے۔
