Explanation of a ritual.

Assalam u Alaikum. Recently somebody gave a paste of various things they call 'lubhan' to one of my relatives. The giver told them that it is mentioned in Quran and it is burned around the holy Kaabah as well. They say that she should give the Dhuni (burning) of Lubhan in your house now and then to ward of evil possessions and shayateen and bring barkah. Please explain in the light of quran o sunnah the correct method. Jazak Allah

وعلیکم السلام
ایسی کسی رسم کا دین اسلام سے کوئی تعلق نہیں ہے کہ جس میں لبان کو کوئی مذہبی تقدس حاصل ہو یا دفع شیاطین یا حصول برکت کے لیے اس کا جلانا مفید ہو۔ قرآن میں اس کوئی ذکر میرے علم کے مطابق نہیں ہے۔
البتہ لبان ایک خوشبودار درخت ہے بطور خوشبو اس کی لکڑی جلانے یا استعمال کرنے میں کوئی حرج نہیں ہے۔
