Part-30: Amma
We have made your sleep as a thing for rest, the night as a covering (through its darkness), and the day for livelihood. An-Naba-9-11
Woe to curtailer who, when they measure something to recieve from people, take it in full. Al-Mutaffifin-1,2
And when they measure something to give it to them, giveless than due. Al-Mutaffifin-3
What is the matter with them that they believe not? and when the Quran is recited to them, they fall not prostrate, Al-Inshiqaq-20,21
Those, who believe and do righteous good deeds, for them is a reward that will never come to an end (i.e. Paradise). Inshiqaq-25
Verily, those who put into trial the believing men and women, and then do not turn in repentance, (to Allah), will have the torment of Hell. Al-Burooj-10
Extend advice to people if advice is useful. Al-Ala-9
The one who fears Allah will observe the advice. Al-Ala-10
But it (advice) will be avoided by the wretched, who will enter the great Fire. Al-Ala-11,12
Indeed whosoever purifies himself shall achieve success. Al-Ala-14
And remembers (glorifies) the Name of his Lord, and offer prayers. Al-Ala-15
You prefer the life of this world; 17. Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. Al-Ala-16,17
Who turns away and disbelieves, Allah will punish him with the greatest torment. Al-Ghashiya-23,24
Those who had rebelled in the lands and spread a lot of mischief therein. Al-Fajr-12,12
You do not treat the orphans with kindness and do not encourage one another to feed the needy Al-Fajr-17,18
You devour inheritance all with greed, and you love wealth with much love! Al-Fajr-19,20
And what may let you know what the steep course is? (It is) Freeing a neck of a slave, or giving food in a day of hunger (famine), to an orphan near of kin. Or to a needy person lying in dust. Balad-12-16
Those who believed, and recommended one another to perseverance, patience, pity and compassion. Al-Balad-17
Indeed he succeeds who purifies his own-self and indeed he fails who corrupts his own-self. Ash-Shams-9,10
Who gives (in charity) and keeps his duty to Allah, fears Him, and believes in the best. Al-Lail-5,6
But the one who is greedy miser and thinks himself self-sufficient and rejects the best. Al-Lail-8,9
Treat not the orphan with oppression, repulse not the beggar; and proclaim the Grace of your Lord. Ad-Dhuha-9-11
When you are free (from your occupation), then stand up for Allah’s worship. And to your Lord (Alone) turn your invocations. Al-Inshirah-7,8
Have you seen him who prevents a slave of Allah when he prays? Al-Alaq-9.10
Fall prostrate and draw near to Allah! Al-Alaq-19
They should worship Allah, and worship none but Him Alone. Al-Bayyina-5
Perform As-Salat (prayers) and give Zakat: and that is the right religion. Al-Bayyina-5
Man is, indeed, ungrateful to his Lord; Al-Adiyat-6
And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. Al-Adiyat-8
The mutual rivalry for piling up of worldly things diverts you, until you visit the graves. At-Takathur-1,2
Verily! Man is in loss, except those who believed and did righteous deeds, and exhorted each other to follow the truth and observe patience. Al-Asr-2,3
Woe to every slanderer and backbiter, Who has gathered wealth and counted it, Al-Humaza-1,2
So let them worship (Allah) the Lord of this House (the Kabah in Makkah), who has fed them against hunger, and has made them safe from fear. Quraish-3,4
He is the one who pushes away the orphan and does not persuade others to feed the needy. Al-Maun-2,3
So woe to those performers of Salat (prayers), who are neglectful of their Salat (prayer). Al-Maun-4,5
Who do good deeds only to show off and refuse to give even common necessaries. Al-Maoon-6,7
So, Offer salat (prayers) to your Lord and sacrifice (to Him only). Al-Kauther-2
So glorify the Praises of your Lord, and seek forgiveness from Him. An-Nasr-3
I seek refuge with (Allah) the Lord of the daybreak, from the evil of what He has created. Al-Falaq-1,2
And from the evil of the darkening (night) as it comes with its darkness; Al-Falaq-3
And from the evil of the women who blow in the knots. Al-Falaq-4
And from the evil of the envier when he envies. Al-Falaq-5
I seek refuge with the Lord of mankind, The King of mankind, God of mankind, An-Nas-1-3
From the evil of the retreating whisperers. An-Nas-4
The one who whispers in the breasts of mankind, whether from among the jinn or mankind." An-Nas-5,6
